Built in 1792, Weatherhead Hollow is a lovingly restored property with a unique combination of modern comforts and historic charm, and located just 10 minutes from the picturesque town of Brattleboro, Vermont.

The property sleeps up to twelve guests in the 1792 Farmhouse and Carriage Barn. The Farmhouse features three large bedrooms, three full bathrooms (two with clawfoot tubs), a formal dining room, colorful kitchen, huge patio with fire pit under the stars, and ample lounge spaces for a memorable Vermont experience. The Carriage Barn has two bedrooms, one full bathroom with soaking tub, and a well appointed kitchen. Choose from any of the locations on the farmstead for your photography – from the farmhouse front porch, the stunning weeping cherry tree, or the rolling fields with mountain views.

Our 10,000 square foot spectacular Bank Barn is your reception and event location that accommodates up to 150 guests for a sit down dinner with plenty of space for a dance floor, live band, DJ, and buffet set up. There’s a separate vintage bar room located in the newly restored corn crib overlooking the barnyard. The 40 x 60 ft space features soaring ceilings with chandeliers, and ample room for both your ceremony and reception. Outdoor ceremonies are very popular as well, and couples may choose to exchange their vows under the spell of our 200+ year old maple tree, in the barnyard, or field with mountain views. Our Barn is ADA accessible.

We’re conveniently located 10 minutes from Brattleboro, VT, 2 hrs from Albany, NY, 2.5hrs from Boston, MA, and 3.5 hrs from New York City. Bradley International Airport in Hartford County, CT is a 1hr 15min drive.

The fine print: The above package includes a minimum 3-night stay event. Longer stays are available on request. You will have exclusive access to the farmstead during your stay.

An event planner or coordinator is required to ensure a smooth and joyful experience. We are happy to suggest event coordinators or you may bring your own. Planning services vary widely and we can suggest professional event planners for every budget and style.

A 50% retainer + refundable security deposit is required to secure the venue. Add-On Services may be selected up to six weeks in advance of the reservation, based on availability. Contact us to learn more.
