Artist Residency

The Artist Residency Program at Weatherhead Hollow welcomes creators in the research and development stages of their artistic practice who make dance, music, visual art, or write for film, literature, television, and theater. Creators who defy any category or discipline are also supported here.

Weatherhead Hollow provides time and space on a historic Southern Vermont farmstead to artists of exceptional talent. Each 1-2 week residency includes accommodation, a separate studio space if required, and dedicated support in advance to design a residency that meets the needs of the artist. There are no residency fees.

The Bank Barn contains two studio spaces – a 40 x 60 hall and a 20 x 40 dance studio with sprung hardwood floors.

The Weatherhead Hollow Artist Residency Program is currently by invitation only. Invitations are offered by previous Weatherhead Hollow Artists-in-Residence, and the Founders.
